Today, Jeangu Macrooy and Dutch Television (AVROTROS) revealed the Dutch and host entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. With the song 'Birth Of A New Age', he is hoping to follow up their 2019 winner with yet another good result. Jeangu held a special on-line remote show to reveal what will become The Netherlands entry this year.

Last year he blew us away on our Tedx stage in Maastricht, now 23 year old Jeangu Macrooy from Suriname is conquering the world with 120 shows in the past year, his very first club tour this year and performances at Lowlands, Festival Mundial and North Sea Jazz. Jeangu Macrooy was born on November 6 1993 in Paramaribo, Suriname. In 2011, he formed the band Between Towers with his twin brother Xillian. Their first and only album "Stars on My Radio" was released in 2013. After having studied at the Conservatory of Suriname in Paramaribo for two years, Jeangu moved to the Netherlands in 2014 to study.
